Sahrora: Quiz Night Party · effective date 16 October 2026
This policy explains what the Sahrora app collects, why, who else handles it, how long it is kept and how you can delete it. It covers Sahrora on iPhone and iPad (App Store) and on Android (Google Play). Sahrora is made by Mohammad Sami (“we”, “us”).
The short version
When you first open Sahrora it creates an anonymous account: a random identifier with no email address, phone number or real name attached. You can play the whole app this way.
If you choose to sign in — with Google (iPhone and Android) or with Apple (iPhone and iPad only) — so that your progress survives a new phone, our sign-in provider (Google Firebase Authentication) also holds the name and email address that Google or Apple gives us. Signing in keeps the same account; nothing you have already played is lost.
These are stored with Google Firebase (Firestore and Realtime Database):
Your progress in Learn (stars, stickers, levels, streaks and personal bests), your Arcade best scores and game picks, your settings, the list of players you have blocked, and the app’s activity log are stored on your device only. Blocks do not move to a new phone. The log leaves your phone only if you choose Share app log. The only thing Learn sends anywhere is the coins it awards, which go to the coin ledger above.
We do not use GPS and the app has no location permission. Sahrora reads your device’s region setting to choose the app language and to put the question categories for your country first. That region is saved with your profile and stats, and you can change it in You → Account.
Google AdMob and Google Firebase Analytics may work out an approximate location (such as your country or city) from your internet (IP) address. Sahrora itself never asks for or stores your precise location.
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob:
There are no ads anywhere in Learn, and none in the middle of a question. Sahrora+ and the one-time Remove Ads purchase remove the banner and full-screen ads.
Every ad request Sahrora makes, on both platforms, is tagged for child-directed treatment (and as from a user under the age of consent) and limited to general-audience (G) content. Because of these tags, Google does not show personalised (interest-based) ads in Sahrora.
To show, measure and protect ads, Google’s Mobile Ads SDK collects information from your device, such as your IP address (from which an approximate location can be estimated), the advertising identifier and app set ID where available, device and app information, how you interact with ads, and diagnostic data. Google uses this under its own policy, for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
On Android, the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google Firebase Analytics can read your device’s advertising ID. Because of the child-directed tag, it is not used to personalise the ads you see in Sahrora. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (on some phones, Settings → Google → Ads).
On iOS, Sahrora asks whether you will allow tracking. If you allow it, Google may receive your device’s advertising identifier with ad requests, to measure ads and to stop the same ad repeating; because of the child-directed tag it is not used to personalise ads. If you say no, or never answer, the identifier is not shared and nothing in the app changes. You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), Google’s consent form appears before any ad is requested. You can change your answer later in You → Settings → Manage privacy choices; that row appears only where it applies.
Saw an ad that should not be there? You → Settings → Report an ad.
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand which features are used. It records events such as “a run started” or “a game finished”, together with your app and questions language, whether you subscribe, your answer to the iOS tracking question, and roughly how many games you have played (in bands, not an exact count). Like any Firebase app it also receives device and app information (model, system version, app version), an app instance ID, an approximate location from your IP address and, on Android, the advertising ID. It does not receive your name, your email or anything you type.
We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to find crashes and errors. A crash report contains technical details (device model, system version, app version, what the app was doing) and your account’s random identifier, so we can match a crash to the game that caused it.
We use Google Firebase Remote Config to change settings (for example, which features are switched on) without an app update. When the app fetches them, Google receives basic device and app information.
Sahrora sends notifications only if you allow them. They are calls from other players in a room you are in — for example the host’s “Call everyone”, the host calling you by name, or a fixed phrase like “Get ready!” — and an optional weekly reminder, which stays off unless you turn it on. To deliver them we store a notification token for each of your devices (Google Firebase Cloud Messaging; on iPhone, through Apple’s push service). A token is deleted when you sign out or delete your account, and dropped when it stops working. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app’s Settings, in iOS Settings → Notifications → Sahrora, or in Android Settings → Apps → Sahrora → Notifications.
The camera is used for one thing: scanning a room’s QR code when you choose Scan QR code. Camera images are processed on your phone and are never uploaded or stored.
Some Learn lessons are read aloud using your device’s own text-to-speech voice. Sahrora does not ask for the microphone, records nothing, and does not send the spoken text to us.
Sahrora+ (a monthly or yearly subscription) and the one-time Remove Ads purchase are sold and paid through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card or payment details. Our purchase service, RevenueCat, receives the store’s receipt — which product, price and currency, dates, renewal status and the store’s transaction identifiers — together with a random customer ID, so the app knows what you have unlocked.
These companies may process data in the United States, the European Union and other countries, under their own safeguards.
In the app: You → Account → Delete account. The button is there once you are signed in; if you play as a guest, first sign in with Google or Apple on the same screen (this keeps the same account), then delete — or email us.
What is deleted: your sign-in, your profile (display name, avatar, region, friend code), your notification tokens, your friends list, invites and rivals, and your name in other players’ friends lists. Your name, avatar and region are also removed from your kept score summary.
What is kept, and why: your coin balance and coin ledger, your medals, your game counters and your daily-limit counters are kept without your name or any way to reach you, linked only to a random identifier that no longer belongs to any sign-in. They stop rewards and free plays being claimed twice and keep past weekly results correct. Reports you made stay until reviewed, and purchase records stay with Apple, Google and RevenueCat as described above. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in the App Store or Google Play.
Without the app, or as a guest, you can ask by email. Full steps, and what to include, are on the support page. We handle requests within 30 days.
Sahrora is a party and quiz game for a general audience. How it treats children differs by platform:
On both platforms, every ad is requested as child-directed and G-rated, as described in section 5. Rooms show the display names players choose, so a child should not use a real name. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what the app needs to run. If you believe a child has given us personal information — for example a real name as a display name — email us and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or in California), you may have further rights, including complaining to your local data protection authority.
When we change this policy we update this page and the effective date at the top. If a change affects how your data is used, we will also say so in the app’s update notes.

Google AdMob:
Google Play.
